I’ve been a brand strategist, account planner and consumer insights expert for over 15 years. I learned how great insights lead to great creative in my first job at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. Since then, I’ve spent the bulk of my career at TBWA\Chiat\Day in Los Angeles, with stops at Deutsch, Ogilvy, Team One and McCann-Erikson.
I don’t believe brands should redo the same types of research and strategic development over and over. I specialize in creative ways to gather insights in order to help a brand determine what they stand for and how they can turn that into a lasting relationship with their audience.
I received an M.A. degree from the University of Florida focusing on the psychological effects of the media on peoples’ perceptions of reality. What a time to be alive!
I’ve lectured on strategy and advertising at the American Advertising Federation, Pepperdine University, Loyola Marymount University, Cal State University Fullerton, UCLA and Brigham Young University.
